IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata's women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to 25th-ranked Dickinson College Tuesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium in a non-league contest.
Immaculata is now 2-2-1 overall while Dickinson improves to 6-0. The Red Devils have won all six of their matches by shutout, and the six consecutive shutouts ties the school record.
Sarah Montminy tallied the Red Devils first goal in the 15th minute on a break-away that she pushed past IU goalkeeper
Jessica Gaburo. Laurie Luczak took a feed from Ashley Kunkle with 2:34 remaining in the opening half and found the back of the net, giving Dickinson a 2-0 margin at the break.
Dickinson outshot Immaculata 17-1 during the contest.
Erin Lewis took the Mighty Macs only shot on a direct kick during the second half. The Red Devils also held an 8-0 advantange on corners.
Gaburo made a season-best seven saves in the loss while Kailyn Hartmann played all 90 minutes in goal for Dickinson without making a save.
Immaculata travels to Haverford on Saturday for a 12 p.m. start.
