Women's Soccer Blanks Goucher, 3-0

TOWSON, Md. - Immaculata's women's soccer team scored three goals enroute to a 3-0 blanking of Goucher Saturday evening in a non-league match. 

Immaculata received goals from Bridget Cunningham, Kim Steinke and Jen Steinke to end its two-game scoreless drought. Zena Tracey recorded two assists while Mindy Monastra registered one.

Cunningham scored in the 21st minute as she buried a pass from Tracey into the net. The Steinke twins scored less than three minutes apart as K. Steinke netted her goal from a Monastra assist at 63:39, and J. Steinke pushed one past Goucher's goalie at 66:13 on Tracey's second assist of the game.

Immaculata goalkeeper Jessica Gaburo made four saves to record her third shutout in four games and second straight. Goucher keeper Kellen Matthews recorded 14 saves while allowing the three goals.

Immaculata outshot Goucher, 20-7, and the Mighty Macs held a 3-1 advantage on corners.

The Mighty Macs will return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 15, hosting Dickinson at 4 p.m.
