READING, Pa. - The Immaculata women's tennis team claimed a 5-4 win against Penn State Berks Tuesday afternoon in non-conference play.
Trailing 3-0 after doubles, Immaculata (2-12) came back to win five of the six singles matches to pick up the win.
Erika LaMarch won her match at the top flight, 6-3, 6-4, against Aimee Hoffman, while
Amanda Dahlquist picked up a win at No. 2 in a third-set tie-breaker, 0-6, 6-3, 11-9, against Jackie Carl.
Felicia Thomas defeated Liz Martinez, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 4, and
Kaitlyn O'Donnell battled for the 7-5, 7-5 win over Erica Muthard at the fifth position.
Renae Padamonsky made quick work of Kelsey Costello at the sixth spot, 6-0, 6-0.
Immaculata plays its final match of the 2009 season tomorrow, hosting Neumann at 3:30 p.m.
