Keystone Slips Past Immaculata Field Hockey, 1-0

SCRANTON, Pa. - Keystone's Samantha Morgan scored with 3:42 remaining in the game to lift the host Giants past visiting Immaculata, 1-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey action.

With the victory Keystone evened its mark at 4-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play while Immaculata falls to 2-5 overall, 0-2 CSAC.

Morgan was able to convert the goal after a mad scramble in front of the net as both teams sought to gain possession. 

Immaculata's Bridget Dougherty played a full 70 minutes in the cage making three saves while Keystone's Breanna Auld recorded five saves in net.

Immaculata held a 10-5 advantage in shots, and Keystone led in the battle of penalty corners, 9-7.

The Mighty Macs return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. hosting Rosemont.
