Immaculata Women's Soccer Blanked By Cabrini, 3-0

RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer claimed a 3-0 shutout win against Immaculata on Tuesday night at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Sabina DeGisi sparked the Cavaliers' offense, scoring the game's first goal in the 35th minute. A feed from Jenna Laufenberg found DeGisi in front of goalkeeper Jessica Gaburo for the score.

Annmarie Kolla's tally at the 83:24 mark handed the hosts a two-goal edge before Dana Nardello iced Cabrini's victory by beating Gaburo off a pass from Collette Walsh with just 90 seconds remaining.

Gaburo finished the match with 12 saves, and Cabrini's Gianna Porretta claimed two saves en route to her second shutout of the season.

The Cavaliers (6-6 overall, 3-2 CSAC) held a commanding 25-7 advantage in shots as well as a 7-2 advantage in corners.

Immaculata (2-7-2, 2-3-0) returns to the road Saturday, Oct. 11, at Cedar Crest at 1 p.m.
