LANGHORNE, Pa. – Immaculata's field hockey team snapped its four-game skid on Wednesday as it defeated Philadelphia Biblical, 3-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
The Mighty Macs now sit at 4-9 overall and 2-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Crimson Eagles drop to 3-12 overall, 2-5 in the CSAC.
Kathleen Garrity scored two goals and Anastasia Likanchuk added the final tally for the Mighty Macs. Jenn Norris and Maureen Town recorded assists.
Garrity started things off for the Mighty Macs 9:31 into the contest on a Town feed, and Garrity added an unassisted goal in the 25th minute. Likanchuk's score game at the 60:28 mark on a Norris pass.
Immaculata held a slight 12-10 shot advantage over Philadelphia Biblical, however the Crimson Eagles led 5-4 in penalty corners.
Brittany Worthington played all 70 minutes between the pipes making five saves. Lauren Roth also played a complete game recording two saves.
Immaculata continues its road trip on Saturday traveling to Neumann at 12 p.m.
