Immaculata Falls To No. 14 Elizabethtown, 7-1

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.
- Immaculata's field hockey squad fell to 14th-ranked Elizabethtown, 7-1, in non-conference action on Monday afternoon.

Immaculata slips to 3-9 overall while Elizabethtown improves to 13-2.

The Blue Jays scored five straight goals before Katherine Fouhy connected on a loose ball at 57:37 to put the Mighty Macs on the board.

Elizabethtown took an 4-0 lead into intermission on the strength of two Katy Boone goals. After Fouhy's tally, Elizabethtown answered with two more scores from the stick of Aimee Stango just three minutes apart.

Brittany Worthington collected eight saves for Immaculata. Liz Hannegan started and played 59:35 for Elizabethtown recording one saves and allowing the Mighty Macs' lone goal. Steph Smith saw 10:25 in the cage also registering one save.

The Mighty Macs return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 15, when they travel to face Philadelphia Biblical.  Face-off is set for 4 p.m.
