Immaculata University women's field hockey team fell to Misericordia University 5-0, on Saturday, September 8, in Dallas, Pennsylvania. It was the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) opener for both schools.
Juniors Jenn Norris and Anastasia Likanchuk and freshman Lauren Bigos recorded the only shots for the Mighty Macs (0-2, 0-1 PAC).
Junior Bridget Dougherty registered 21 saves for Immaculata, as the Cougars outshot the Mighty Macs 22-3. Misericordia (2-2, 1-0) also held an 11-3 advantage in corners.
Immaculata returns to action on Wednesday, September 12, when they travel to face Albright College. Face-off is set for 6 pm.
