Immaculata University women's soccer team fell to Neumann College 2-1, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Thursday, September 27, in Aston, PA.
The Knights' Casey Geary scored at 34:07 to open the scoring off an assist from Brittany Barley. The Mighty Macs tied the game at 1-1 when freshman Colleen Jennings found the back of the net off an assist freshman goalkeeper Jessica Gaburo at 56:42. However, Barley answered for Neumann and tallied the unassisted game-winner at 74:50.
Gaburo recorded six saves for Immaculata, while Caitlin Agnew amassed five saves for the Knights.
Neumann outshot the Mighty Macs 12-11, but Immaculata held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Mighty Macs (6-5, 2-4) return to action on Monday, October 1, when they travel to face the College of Notre Dame. Kick-off is set for 4 pm.
