Immaculata University women's field hockey team fell to Neumann College 1-0 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, September 22, in Draper Walsh Stadium.
Rachel Dicco scored the only goal of the game unassisted at 20:15. Sophomores Anastasia Likanchuk and Caitlin Brennan each totaled three shots in the loss.
Junior Bridget Dougherty collected 11 saves in the net for the Mighty Macs, while Chelsea Ward recorded six saves. The Knights (4-4, 2-0 PAC) outshot Immaculata 24-8 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
The Mighty Macs (1-6, 1-3 PAC) return to action on Tuesday, September 25, when they host Delaware Valley College. Face-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
