Immaculata University women's field hockey team fell to Gwynedd-Mercy College 3-1 in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday, October 6, in Gwynedd-Valley, PA.

Junior Anastasia Likanchuk scored the lone goal for the Mighty Macs off an assist from junior Alyssa Drescher at 59:00.  Tori Geppert scored the first goal of the game off a pass from Erin Reddy at 21:20.  The Griffins took a 2-0 lead into intermission.

Junior goalkeeper Bridget Dougherty collected 12 saves in the loss.

Gwynedd-Mercy outshot Immaculata 20-3 and held a 13-3 advantage in corner kicks.

The Mighty Macs (3-10, 3-4) return to action on Wednesday, October 10, when they host Alvernia College.  Face-off is set for 4 pm.
