Immaculata University women's field hockey team saw its two-game winning streak snapped as they fell to Arcadia University, 4-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday, October 2, in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
Sophomore Caitlin Brennan scored the only goal for the Mighty Macs at 13:08 off an assist from junior Alyssa Drescher. The Knights' Abby Frymire tied the game at 1-1 off a pass from Joanna Born at 21:25. Beth Harris recorded the game-winner at 26:29 as Arcadia took a 2-1 lead into intermission. Liz McCormick assisted on that goal.
Junior goalkeeper Bridget Dougherty collected fives in the loss.
The Knights outshot Immaculata 12-4 and held an 11-7 advantage in corner kicks.
The Mighty Macs (3-8) return to action on Thursday, October 4, when they travel to face DeSales University. Face-off is set for 4 pm.
