First baseman Matt Hardy from the Immaculata baseball team has been honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, March 12.

Hardy led the Immaculata offense in the Mighty Macs’ first week of the season, batting .476 (10-for-21), with a double, two home runs, and 10 RBI. In Immaculata’s doubleheader split with Guilford, Hardy went a combined 3-for-6, with a walk, homer and two RBI. He also had two hits and two RBI in Wednesday’s split at Greensboro. Hardy wrapped up the week by going 5-for-8, with a grand slam and six RBI in Sunday’s doubleheader split with Wilkes.
