David Azzarano of the Men's Lacrosse Team is our Mighty Mac of the Week!
David Azzarano scored three goals and had eight assists for 11 points in Immaculata's 20-9 win over Gwynedd Mercy in the Atlantic East Conference Semifinals on Saturday. Azzarano's eight assists, tied the program record for assists in a single game, and his 11 points tied the program record for points in a single game. Additionally, on his goal at 12:28 of the second quarter, David broke his own program record of points in a single season with 86 points. Azzarano ended the game with 90 points.
Azzarano, and the Immaculata men's lacrosse team will make the program's first ever appearance in the Atlantic East Conference Championship Game on Saturday, May 3rd when they host number two seed Marymount at Draper Walsh Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
