Athena Kritikson of the women’s tennis team is our Mighty Mac of the Week!
In her first-ever competitive college singles match, Kritikson delivered a clutch performance to help secure Immaculata’s 4-3 victory over Kean in their home opener on Saturday. Facing a tough opponent, she earned a gritty 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (9-7) win, clinching the deciding match for the Mighty Macs.
Despite a lengthy delay between the second and third sets, Kritikson maintained her focus and composure, battling through a tense third set and edging out the win in a thrilling tiebreaker. Her determination and poise under pressure were key to the team’s opening day success.
