Susan Callahan

Susan Callahan is in her third season as the Mighty Macs' head men's and women's tennis coach in 2025-26.

Paul Murphy, Immaculata University Director of Athletics and Recreation announced that Susan Callahan has been named Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Callahan is no stranger to the Immaculata tennis program having spent the past two seasons as an Assistant Coach under former Coach Scott McTigue and was a member of the Immaculata women’s team as a player.

During her time as a player with the Immaculata women’s team, Callahan posted 37 career wins averaging double-digit wins for her entire career. She earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to help Immaculata clinch the Atlantic East Conference Championship in 2019 against Gwynedd Mercy in the finals. She was twice named First Team All-Conference in singles and was named second-team all-Conference in doubles in the same years.

In her two years as an Assistant Coach, Callahan helped lead the Mighty Macs women’s team to consecutive appearances in the Atlantic East Conference Finals and helped the men’s team reach the finals in 2022. She was a member of the 2023 Atlantic East Conference Women’s Coaching Staff of the Year with Immaculata.

Callahan earned her Bachelor of Science degrees from Immaculata University in Exercise Science and Nursing.
