Martin Mullen

Martin Mullen returns for his second season as Immaculata's men's lacrosse head coach after guiding the Mighty Macs to the CSAC Tournament for the first time in the four-year program history in 2010.

Immaculata recorded its first winning season in 2010 with a 9-6 overall and 3-3 CSAC mark as well as the fourth seed in the conference tournament.

Mullen took over the head position after serving as an assistant coach with the program during the previous three seasons. He assisted in the day-to-day coaching and instruction of student-athletes on skill development. He also helped coordinate recruiting efforts and fundraising activities.

Mullen is no stranger to the area, as he was a member of Bishop Shanahan High School’s men’s lacrosse staff for seven seasons before coming to Immaculata. He served as the head JV coach and assistant varsity coach from 1999 to 2006.

Mullen is actively involved with club teams around the area, serving as a coach with the Black Bear Lacrosse Club during the last two years to provide expert instruction and training at camps, clinics and tournaments throughout the area. He had previously served as the head coach of the Falcon’s Lacrosse Club for two seasons working with elite high school select teams.

Mullen earned All-Chest-Mont honors as a midfielder at Downingtown High School. He later went on to play at St. Joseph’s University and West Chester University.
