Kent Snoddy is in his first season as the Mighty Macs' head men's lacrosse coach in 2026.

Snoddy earned his first career win as a head coach on Feb. 21, 2026 against Saint Vincent. In Snoddy's first season on Immaculata's sidelines, the Mighty Macs went 12-6 (3-1 AEC), propelling them to the AEC postseason. They took down Gwynedd Mercy 14-4 in the AEC Semifinals before their season concluded at Marymount in the championship game. Immaculata garnered six All-AEC selections. Jason Smaron, Colton Rhoades, and Matthew Ludlow made the First Team. Aaron Headley, Ryan Gorman, and Colin Wolk made the Second Team. Ludlow added conference Defensive Player of the Year to his resume, while Seth Panowitz was given the Elite Scholar-Athlete award. Ludlow, as a senior, was the Division III statistical champion in save percentage (.653).

In Feb. 2026, Snoddy was a guest on "Tuesday Talk - An Immaculata Athletics Podcast" (click here).

"We are thrilled to elevate Coach Snoddy," said Paul Murphy, Immaculata's Director of Athletics and Recreation. "His leadership and commitment to the program make him the ideal choice to continue building on our momentum."

“I would like to thank Director of Athletics Paul Murphy and the search committee for giving me the opportunity to lead this program,” Snoddy said. “I look forward to guiding the program into a bright and successful future! Roll Macs!”

Snoddy stepped into the role following his stint as an assistant coach during the historic 2025 season, where the team secured its first Atlantic East Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. His contributions to player development, game planning, and recruiting were instrumental to the team’s success.

The impact that was felt for Snoddy in his first season with the Mighty Macs was immediate. He guided five defensive members to All-Conference honors, including three First Team All-Atlantic East selections. Long stick midfielder Aidan Lawrence was named the 2025 AEC Defensive Player of the Year under Snoddy’s tutelage. Immaculata had the highest save % of all conference teams (.594), as well as the second-lowest GAA (9.56).

Snoddy joined the Immaculata coaching staff in 2024 and served as an assistant coach, working closely with the defensive units.

Snoddy brings valuable experience from his time as manager for the University of Virginia men’s lacrosse team during its 2024 Final Four run. This role provided him with valuable insight into coaching techniques employed by a top collegiate program.

Snoddy was a four-year player and two-time captain of the Randolph College men’s lacrosse team from 2019-23. He gained experience on offense, defense, goalkeeping, and faceoff. Snoddy later earned a Master of Teaching from UVA in 2024.

Snoddy is a 2023 Randolph graduate.
