Paul Murphy, Director of Athletics and Recreation at Immaculata University, has announced the promotion of Kent Snoddy to Head Coach of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Snoddy will also serve as Facility Coordinator for Draper Walsh Stadium and Alumnae Hall.
Snoddy steps into the role following a historic 2025 season as Assistant Coach, where the team secured its first Atlantic East Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. His contributions to player development, game planning, and recruiting were instrumental to the team’s success.

Snoddy brings valuable experience from his time as Manager for the University of Virginia Men’s Lacrosse team during its 2024 Final Four run. This role provided him with valuable insight into coaching techniques employed by a top collegiate program.
A Randolph College graduate, he was a four-year player and two-time captain of the Randolph men’s lacrosse team, later earning a Master of Teaching from UVA in 2024.

Snoddy joined the coaching staff at Immaculata for the 2024-2025 campaign and currently serving as an assistant coach working closely with the defensive units.
Snoddy is a 2023 graduate of Randolph college, where he was a member of the men's lacrosse team from 2019-2023. Snoddy was a 2 time team captain where he gained experience on offense, defense, goalkeeping, and faceoff.
Snoddy joined the Immaculata coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in 2024 leading the defensive corp.
The impact that was felt for Snoddy upon his first season with the Mighty Macs was immediate. IU, as he guided 5 members of the defense to All Conference honors, including 3 first team All Atlantic East members. Long stick midfielder Aidan Lawrence was named defensive player of the year under Snoddy’s tutelage on the defense in 2025. Immaculata had the highest save % of all conference teams at .594 %, as well as the 2nd lowest GAA at 9.56
