Ross Weyandt is in his first season with the Mighty Macs in 2025-26. He is the strength and conditioning coach for men's basketball.
Previously, Weyandt was the director of sport performance and head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Mount Union. At Mount Union, he oversaw the strength and conditioning program for all 25 varsity teams.
Weyandt also served as the assistant director of strength and conditioning at Eastern University in St. David's, Pa. He was promoted to full-time in 2022. He was the lead strength and conditioning coach for football, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, women's basketball, and men's and women's golf.
While working in Kent State University's athletic department, Weyandt earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Kent State. He has an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern.
He is certified as a strength and conditioning coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is certified with USA Weightlifting. Additionally, Weyandt received his Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association.
Weyandt enjoys competing in CrossFit competitions and mountain biking.
