Zach Zoll is in his first season as an assistant coach in 2026-27.
Zoll served as an assistant men's basketball coach at Utica University from 2023-26. The Pioneers won back-to-back Empire 8 Conference titles in 2024 and 2025 and claimed the conference's automatic qualifier (AQ) to advance to the NCAA Tournament in both years. During Zoll's time with the Pioneers, he assisted in recruiting and developing four All-Empire 8 First Team selections across 2024 and 2025, one All-Empire 8 Second Team selection in 2025, the Empire 8 All-Tournament MVP in 2024 and 2025, and members of the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team in 2024 and 2025. His other responsibilities were based around scouting, operations, and academic monitoring.
Before Utica, Zoll was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Allegheny College, from 2020-23. He helped the head coach with scouting, recruiting, individual improvement, and academic monitoring, and he was the liaison between strength and conditioning. Additionally, Zoll was responsible for practice set-up and breakdown.
Zoll earned a B.S. in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Allegheny in 2020. He also earned a master's in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at the State University of New York (SUNY) Cortland in 2023.
