WHAT TO KNOW

• Immaculata returns home to Alumnae Hall on Tuesday evening when the Mighty Macs welcome the Arcadia University Knights for a 6 p.m. non-conference matchup. The match begins a stretch of two consecutive home contests for Immaculata, with Lebanon Valley visiting Alumnae Hall on Wednesday evening.
• The Mighty Macs enter Tuesday's match looking to bounce back after dropping a pair of matches at Saturday's York College tri-match. Immaculata fell to York, 3-0, before suffering a 3-0 setback against FDU-Florham.
• Arcadia brings a 7-1 record into the matchup. The Knights have won seven of their first eight matches, with their only loss coming against Rowan, 3-0, on Sept. 12. Arcadia rebounded later that day with a 3-1 victory over Widener.
• Lebanon Valley enters Wednesday with a 4-4 record after eight matches. LVC has victories over Alvernia, Drew, Wilson, and Cairn, while its losses have come against Muskingum, Salisbury, Elizabethtown, and Haverford.

 
SERIES HISTORY

• Tuesday will mark the 10^th meeting between Immaculata and Arcadia. Immaculata is 2-7 all-time vs. Arcadia.
• Arcadia defeated Immaculata 3-0 on Sept. 4, 2025, in Glenside. The Knights finished the 2025 season 14-14 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
• Wednesday's match will be the first meeting between Immaculata and Lebanon Valley in women's volleyball.

 
MIGHTY MAC NOTES

• First-year outside hitter Madi Kyle has established herself as one of Immaculata's primary offensive weapons during the opening weeks of the season. Kyle entered the York tri-match as the Mighty Macs' team leader with 46 kills and added 12 kills against York and another 10 kills against FDU-Florham. She has recorded double-digit kills in multiple matches during her first collegiate season.
• Sophomore setter Angelica Santini Bulerin continues to quarterback the Mighty Mac offense. Santini Bulerin entered the weekend with 74 assists and finished Saturday's two matches with 23 assists against York and 13 assists against FDU-Florham. She enters the Arcadia match having accumulated 110 assists through the first eight matches.
• Sophomore libero Adriana Ventura continues to provide a steady defensive presence for the Mighty Macs. Ventura posted a career-best 30 digs against Penn State Abington on Sept. 10, tying her for 10th in program history for digs in a single match. She followed that performance with 24 digs against FDU-Florham. Through the first eight matches, Ventura has also recorded 10 service aces and entered Saturday with 82 digs.
• Junior middle Eliana Szatkowski has been one of Immaculata's key defensive weapons at the net. Szatkowski entered the weekend with 15 total blocks, including three solo blocks and 12 assisted blocks, and added five blocks against FDU-Florham.
• First-year setter/right-side hitter Tara Hirschtritt has made an immediate impact during her first collegiate season. Hirschtritt recorded 12 kills, seven assists and six digs in Immaculata's 3-0 victory over Penn College. Against Penn State Abington, she came within two kills of a triple-double, finishing with eight kills, 17 assists and 12 digs.

 
SCOUTING ARCADIA

• The Knights enter Tuesday with a 7-1 record, including victories over Bryn Mawr, Muhlenberg, Bard, Catholic, Washington College, Neumann, and Widener. Arcadia's lone loss came against Rowan in the first match of a Sept. 12 tri-match.
• Junior OH Devon Young is one of Arcadia's top offensive threats and recorded nine kills in the season opener against Bryn Mawr and gives the Knights another sizable offensive option at the net.
• First-year OH/OPP Mia Beckett has made an immediate impact, recording nine kills in the season opener.
• First-year OH/DS Raegan Oursler contributed eight kills and eight digs in Arcadia's season-opening win. Her ability to contribute offensively and defensively makes her a player to watch in the Knights' rotation.
• First-year setter Kaitlyn Small and junior setter Bryana Saenz have shared setting duties early in the season. Small led Arcadia with 17 assists in the season-opening win over Bryn Mawr, while Saenz added 15.

 
SCOUTING LEBANON VALLEY

• The Flying Dutchmen enter Wednesday with a 4-4 record. LVC has victories over Alvernia, Drew, Wilson, and Cairn, while its losses have come against Muskingum, Salisbury, Elizabethtown, and Haverford
• Riley Mack has emerged as a key offensive option for the Flying Dutchmen. She posted a team-high 10 kills against Wilson and followed with nine kills against Haverford.
• Teaguen Reynolds also provides a strong presence at the net. Reynolds had eight kills and three block assists against Wilson before recording seven kills without an attack error against Cairn.
• Lebanon Valley utilizes a two-setter attack with Jasmine Sullivan and Sofia Rios. Sullivan posted 19 assists against Wilson and 18 assists against Cairn, while Rios contributed 15 assists against Wilson and 11 against Cairn.
• Kylie Nagle and Molly Thomas are among the Flying Dutchmen's primary defensive players. Nagle recorded 12 digs against Wilson and nine against Cairn, while Thomas had 10 digs against Wilson and eight against Haverford.
• Lebanon Valley showed its blocking ability in the 3-1 victory over Wilson, finishing with a 13-2 advantage in total blocks. Reynolds, Jefferys, and other front-row players will present a significant challenge for the Mighty Mac attack.

 
VENTURA EARNS AEC HONORS FOR A SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

• Sophomore libero Adriana Ventura was named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll for the second consecutive week. Ventura averaged 5.36 digs per set and 18.8 digs per match for the week, finishing in double digits for digs in every contest while anchoring the Mighty Macs' defensive effort.
• Ventura had 30 digs vs. Penn State Abington on September 10, and 24 digs vs. FDU-Florham on September 12.

 
UP NEXT
Following the two-match home stand, Immaculata heads to Collegeville on Saturday, Sept. 19, for the Ursinus Tri-Match. The Mighty Macs will face Cedar Crest at 1 p.m. and Ursinus at 3 p.m.
