Men's Track & Field

Men's and Women's Track and Field 2025-26 Season Recap

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's and women's track and field concluded their second season under head coach Matthew Murray.

The teams have a plethora of talent going into the 2026-27 season, as they once again look to be a strong competitor in the Atlantic East Conference.

THE SCHEDULE

Both squads kicked off the indoor season with two meets at Alvernia: the Rust Buster in early December, and the PLEX Shootout in late January. At the Rust Buster, the men's crew placed fifth of seven teams. Out of six women's teams, Immaculata earned third. They would travel to five meets throughout the winter, capped off by a trip to Staten Island, N.Y. for the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Exactly one month after the end of the indoor season, the Mighty Macs switched to outdoor with the West Chester Purple and Gold Open. Immaculata tallied six regular season outdoor meets, including stops at DeSales, Misericordia, and King's (Pa.). The men placed fifth of 10 teams at Misericordia, while the women were fourth of eight.

Immaculata was the 2026 Atlantic East Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships host, which occurred from May 2-3. For the weekend, the men finished third out of six teams with 77 points. Meanwhile, the women took third out of seven with 117 points.

Immaculata will use this season as a foundation for next year and will look to add to their numerous accolades.
