NORTH MYTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Immaculata softball team (2-4) dropped both of its games on Thursday in the Fast Pitch Dreams Spring Classic. Immaculata fell to Albion College in their first game, 10-4, and fell to Vermont State Castleton in their second game, 5-3.

Albion used a fast start and capitalized on several defensive miscues to defeat Immaculata, 10–3, in the opening game of the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ALBION
- The Britons plated three runs in the top of the first inning before the Mighty Macs answered in the bottom half.
- Alexis Andrada highlighted Immaculata's response in the bottom of the first, with a two-run double to right field, scoring Jamie Green and Madison Formica to cut the deficit to 3–2.
- Albion extended its lead with two runs in the second inning and continued to take advantage of defensive opportunities throughout the contest. The Britons added two more runs in both the fourth and fifth innings before tacking on another in the seventh.
- Immaculata added a run in the sixth, when Jamie Green tripled to lead off the inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Carlee Karcher.

- Green led the Immaculata offense with two hits and a pair of runs scored.
- Andrada finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
- Morgan Jans also added a pair of hits in the contest.
- Sara Pierson was tagged with the loss after four innings of work.

Immaculata rallied to take a midgame lead but could not hold off Vermont State Castleton, falling 5–3 in the second game of the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST VERMONT STATE CASTLETON
- The Spartans opened the scoring in the first inning, taking a 1-0 lead.
- The Mighty Macs answered in the second when Casey Pasco reached on an error that allowed Carlee Karcher to score and even the game at 1–1.
- Castleton regained the lead in the third inning, leading 2-1.
- Immaculata surged ahead in the fifth. Jamie Green and Carlee Karcher both reached base ahead of Alexis Andrada, who delivered a clutch two-run single to right field to give the Mighty Macs a 3–2 advantage.
- Castleton responded immediately in the bottom of the inning, however, stringing together three runs on a pair of extra-base hits to reclaim the lead.
- Immaculata threatened late, finishing with 10 hits in the contest, but could not push across another run, falling 5-3.

- Karcher led the Mighty Macs offensively with a 3-for-4 performance.
- Pasco added two hits, including a double.
- Andrada drove in two runs for the second consecutive game.
- Aubrey Seider was charged with the loss after 4.2 innings in the circle.
