Prall Scores Immaculata’s First Goal of the Season in Loss to Haverford Fords

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer saw their first goal of the 2025 season on Wednesday evening against the Haverford College Fords, but the Fords won the match 3-1.

The Mighty Macs are 0-2 for the season. Their first AEC game will be on Saturday, Oct. 4 versus Centenary (N.J.).

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST HAVERFORD
  • Immaculata was aggressive early in the first half, with Jaden Jones putting up a shot in the 10th minute. That was saved by Haverford goalie Grayson Benson. Luca Greppellini, making his collegiate debut in net, recorded a save moments later. Multiple Haverford shots were denied by the Immaculata defense before the Fords connected on back-to-back goals. The match was relatively quiet until 34:55, when Michael Prall, coming off the bench, sent the ball past the goalie to break Immaculata's scoring draught. Jonathan Olaleye had the assist. Greppellini stood tall against a few Haverford shots, with the opening 45 minutes concluding at 2-1 Haverford.
  • The Fords extended their advantage in the second half with a penalty kick goal in the 54th minute. The home team continued their aggressive offense, even though Greppellini made some saves and the team blocked a shot. Both sides would see an offsides call and an array of shot attempts. Despite good Mighty Macs defense near the end of the half, the deficit was too great to overcome. Haverford won 3-1.
