WHAT TO KNOW
  • Immaculata (3-5) is seeking to build momentum following a dominant sweep over Cedar Crest on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
  • Susquehanna (2-10) comes into Saturday on a two-match winning streak. After being swept in 10 straight matches, they swept York (Pa.) and Penn State Altoona last Saturday, Sept. 20 in a home tri-match.
  • Eastern (8-4) looks to bounce back from a four-set loss at Widener on Wednesday.
SERIES HISTORY
  • Susquehanna won the only matchup against Immaculata in the all-time series. Even after Saturday, the Mighty Macs and River Hawks will have never played at Immaculata before.
  • Eastern leads the all-time series over Immaculata 16-2. The Mighty Macs are looking to snap a 16-match losing streak dating back to 1994. Immaculata's previous win in the series was at home on Oct. 2, 1993.
LAST MEETING
  • Immaculata and Susquehanna's only meeting, hosted by the latter, was on Oct. 7, 2012. The Mighty Macs were on the wrong end of a sweep.
  • Andrea Okoro and Allison Lang tied for a team-high five kills each. Okoro chipped in three blocks.
  • Immaculata and Eastern met last season on Oct. 4, 2024 in St. Davids. The Eagles won 3-0.
  • Three Mighty Macs tied for the team lead in kills (3): Jenna Bozzo, Alayah Phifer, and Mel Mann.
  • Bozzo also had a team-high four assists.
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Mia Esposito is the primary offensive option this season with 79 kills. She's had a particularly good week-and-a-half. Esposito tallied a then-career high 16 kills against Moravian on Sept. 18 and a new career-high of 19 kills at King's last Saturday, Sept. 20.
  • Angelica Santini Bulerin continues her strong rookie season with 177 assists. Against Cedar Crest on Wednesday, Santini Bulerin logged 31 dimes. That was her second match of the season with at least 30.
  • Santini Bulerin is also the Mighty Macs' leader in aces (14).
  • First-year Adriana Ventura has a team-best 123 digs.
  • On the defensive side, three players have at least 10 blocks: Esposito (17), Antonia Antolini (12), and Damani Myers (11).
SCOUTING SUSQUEHANNA
  • Kyndall Mason paces the River Hawks with 64 kills. Right behind her is Emma Willow with 41.
  • Susquehanna mainly relies on two setters in their offense. Elliott Schleicher leads the River Hawks with 118. Ninety-five assists have been credited to Lauren Halsey.
  • Schleicher and Jessica Sack have 11 and 10 aces, respectively.
  • Sack is the team leader in digs with 184. Against Penn State Altoona last Saturday, Sack put up 24 digs. That is one shy of her season-high of 25, which was set vs. Lancaster Bible on August 30.
  • The Mighty Macs will look to attack away from Addison Dodge, whose 25 blocks leads Susquehanna.
  • Outside of Dodge, there's a three-way tie for second with 21 blocks each: Willow, Sami Kline, and Stella Robinson.
SCOUTING EASTERN
  • The Mighty Macs will have to contain Eastern's hot offense, starting with Hannah Pringle and Alexis Standford. Respectively, they lead the Eagles with 190 and 148 kills.
  • Sarah Furey is first on the team with 230 assists. Kallie Rogers is second with 140.
  • Viviana Fragoso has team-bests of 21 aces and 185 digs.
  • Veronica Faber is fierce on defense with a team-high 40 rejections.
