Women's Volleyball Heads to King's for Opening Tri-Match of 2025

WHAT TO KNOW
  • Immaculata heads to Wilkes-Barre, Pa. for the first of three tri-matches this season.
  • The Mighty Macs enter Saturday with a 1-4 record. Their lone win came over Delaware Valley.
  • The Keystone College Giants are 1-7 to start the year. They picked up their first win on Tuesday with a five-set victory at Elmira. It snapped their seven-match losing streak.
  • The King's College Monarchs have been hot at 7-2. They look to bounce back on Saturday after being swept by Muhlenberg on Wednesday.
SERIES HISTORY
  • The Mighty Macs lead Keystone in the all-time series 6-5. Immaculata won the opening six matches in the series, but they are on a five-match losing streak since. Immaculata's last win against Keystone was on Nov. 1, 2014.
  • King's leads Immaculata 3-0 in their all-time series, dating back to 2007. The Mighty Macs have never won a set against the Monarchs.
LAST MEETING
  • The last meeting between Immaculata and Keystone was on Sept. 4, 2019, with Immaculata hosting. Keystone took a 3-0 win.
  • Jade Rindock was the Mighty Macs' leader in kills (6). Megan Daugherty had eight assists. Mckenna Ryan recorded 10 digs defensively.
  • The last meeting between Immaculata and King's was on Oct. 1, 2022 at King's. The Monarchs won 3-0.
  • Mia Esposito registered a team-high 11 kills. Emily Ettien dished out 22 dimes. No one else on the Mighty Macs had more than three.
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • The starting lineup has been consistent through five matches. Angelica Santini Bulerin, Esposito, and Damani Myers have made all five starts.
  • Esposito is the team leader with 44 kills. Her 16 kills against Moravian on Thursday were a career-high. Myers is just behind with 37.
  • Santini Bulerin is the primary setter for Immaculata, contributing 96 assists. Thirty-five of them came against Moravian, which was a season-best.
  • Immaculata has seen 44 aces. Nine of them belong to Emma Hodgson, who is first on the team.
  • Adriana Ventura put up a season-high 27 digs over Moravian. She leads the team with 76.
SCOUTING KEYSTONE
  • Indya Rogers has a team-high 47 kills. In second is Madison Woods (42).
  • Naema Alatorre has a team-best 74 dimes.
  • Jamilah Higgins' 15 blocks are first on the Giants. No one else has more than four.
SCOUTING KING'S
  • Bella Salvia will be the primary focus of Immaculata's scouting report, as she leads the Monarchs with 76 kills and 21 aces. Theresa Lynch has 74. Salvia and Lynch are in the top 10 in kills in the MAC Freedom.
  • Freshman Ariela Towsey is the Monarchs' setter with 232 assists. Her season-high was 45 versus Ramapo on Sept. 6.
  • Emma Bolich has kept King's defense strong with 17 blocks.
