  • The Immaculata Field Hockey team (3-3) returns to action on Wednesday evening when they host Widener University.

  • Widener improved to 3-2 on Saturday, with their 6-1 win over Drew. Sophomore forward Karly Bervinchak scored four goals, and senior goalie Arwen Fithian made eight saves in goal to lead the Pride.
  • Karyl Bervinchak leads Widener's offense with six goals, and one assist this season.
  • Junior forward Anabella Cenci scored three goals.
  • Goalkeeper Arwen Fithian has started three games and has made 23 shots on 27 shots faced.

AEC WEEKLY HONORS
  • Rachel Madden was named AEC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. Madden anchored the defense for Immaculata, playing a full 60 minutes in Friday night's win over Lancaster Bible. Madden made several key stops and played a crucial role in limiting Lancaster Bible to just two total shots, with none on goal, throughout the game.
  • Abby Fekete was named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. The senior scored just five minutes into the game on Friday evening to give the Mighty Macs a lead they would never relinquish in a 3-0 win over Lancaster Bible. Fekete inserted the penalty corner, then crashed the cage to deflect a shot into the goal, proving to be the eventual game-winner.
