WHAT TO KNOW
  • This is Immaculata's (1-3) third match in five days, the second of which is at home.
  • The Mighty Macs picked up their first win under head coach Rob Dallas on Wednesday, 2-1, over the Notre Dame of Maryland Gators.
  • Goucher (2-1-2) also earned their first win in 2025 on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory over Wilson.
SERIES HISTORY
  • Since the series began in August 2008, the Mighty Macs are 2-4-1 against Goucher.
  • Immaculata's most recent win was on Sept. 14, 2019 at Goucher. They came away with a 3-2 overtime victory. The Mighty Macs' lone home win in the series was Sept. 15, 2008.
  • Goucher is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings.
LAST MEETING
  • The last time the Mighty Macs and Gophers met was Sept. 14, 2024. The Gophers took command with a 4-0 final score.
  • Immaculata's Ryan Straub, who went all 90 minutes in goal, made seven saves.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Carlos Garcia and Matthew Skipper saw their initial scores of the season over Notre Dame of Maryland. Garcia got past the goalie in the 14th minute. Skipper sent a shot in the net in the 39th minute. Garcia and Skipper's scores tie them with Michael Prall for the team lead.
  • Jameson Kennedy collected both assists for Garcia and Skipper. These were the first two assists in Kennedy's collegiate career.
  • Matteo Paolillo, after a two-match absence, made his return as the starting goalkeeper. He contributed four saves in the inaugural win of his young career.
  • Prall and Jaden Jones are tied for a team-best three shots on goal.
SCOUTING GOUCHER
  • The Gophers are 1-1-1 so far in September. They defeated Wilson, lost to Stevenson, and tied Hood.
  • The Mighty Macs will have to slow down Joel Lukoo, who has three of Goucher's four goals this season.
  • The team's lone assist came from Jonathan Adima.
  • Lukoo and Andres Aristimuno have at least 10 shot attempts. Lukoo has 12; Aristimuno has 11.
  • Goalkeeper Ale Sternini has started all five matches for the Gophers. He's recorded 28 saves and three shutouts.
