IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer is making final preparations, as the 2025 season gets underway.
The Mighty Macs begin a new era by welcoming head coach
Rob Dallas. Dallas spent the 2024 season as an assistant men's soccer coach at West Chester. Before that, he served 18 seasons with former Atlantic East rival Cabrini University. He was an assistant men's soccer coach for the first six years before becoming the head coach for the final 12.
Preseason Overview
Immaculata was ranked third in the Atlantic East Conference preseason poll, clocking in with 35 points and earning one of the eight first-place votes. They trailed just behind Neumann and Marymount. Neumann defeated Marymount in the 2024 AEC Championship.
The Mighty Macs went a respectable 7-9-1 (4-2 AEC) last season. This was nearly double the amount of wins from 2023 in both overall record and conference record.
Roster Check
Even though some of Immaculata's top players from 2024 graduated, the 2025 team will showcase a mix of old and new faces into the lineup. In 2024,
Jonathan Olaleye was tied for third with three goals.
Alex Corsones, who made the All-AEC Second Team last season, was third on the Mighty Macs with two assists. Despite coming off the bench for most of 2024,
Jaden Jones was second on the team with 70% of his shots being on goal (7/10).
The Mighty Macs will have a different starting goalie in 2025, given that both from last year graduated. All four goalies on the current roster are either freshmen or sophomores.
Welcome to the Team
The Mighty Macs are introducing 11 freshmen to the 2025 team. The midfielders include
Demier Tossie,
Colin Jester, and
Noah Stoltzfus. The lone forward is
Colin Diehl. The freshmen defenders are
Daniel Soler,
August Welsh,
Carlos Cano,
Tony Contento, and
Gavin Tallant. Finally, the goalkeepers are
Luca Greppellini and
Tyler Guise. Greppellini comes to Immaculata from Newbury, England.
