IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata baseball team defeated Gwynedd Mercy 12-0 in seven innings to take the third game of the Atlantic East Conference series with the Griffins. Immaculata scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning, scoring all 12 runs in the first four innings.
Stephen Devanney was outstanding on the mound pitching 6.2 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only two hits, and had seven strikeouts to earn the win.
Will Kelley was 3-4 with three RBIs, and
Matt Passerini was 2-3 with two RBIs for the Mighty Macs.

With the win Immaculata improves to 10-24 overall, and they are 5-7 in Atlantic East Conference play. Gwynedd Mercy falls to 13-22 overall, and they are 3-9 in Atlantic East Conference play.

How it Happened
- Ryan Nace reached on a fielder's choice in the bottom of the first, scored Matt Passerini with the first run in the game. Sal Serici doubled to right field to score Steven Theisen. Ryan Struble hit an infield single to shortstop to score Ryan Nace. Will Kelly singled to left center to score Sal Serici; Maddox Stern executed a safety squeeze bunt to score Struble. Matt Passerini singled to center field to score Kelley to give Immaculata a 6-0 lead.
- In the bottom of the second inning, Immaculata extended their lead to 9-0 with a two-run single by Will Kelley and another RBI single by Matt Passerini that scored Ryan Struble.
- In the bottom of the third inning, Ryan Struble doubled to left field to score Sal Serici to give Immaculata a 10-0 lead.
- In the bottom of the fourth inning, Nick Turnage doubled down the left line to score Matt Passerini. Steven Theisen who was being held at third base, scored when the left fielder misplayed the ball by the wall to give Immaculata a 12-0.
- Stephen Devanney was outstanding on the mound and began to tire in the seventh inning. Aidan Jackson came on to record the game's final out as Immaculata won 12-0 after seven innings.
