ST. DAVID'S, Pa.- The Immaculata women's flag football team earned a split in their Atlantic East Conference tri-match vs Eastern and Holy Family at Eastern this afternoon. Immaculata fell to the host Eastern 19-0 in their first game, before defeating Holy Family in their second game 33-15. With their win, Immaculata has clinched a spot in the four team Atlantic East Conference Championship Tournament to be held at Marymount University on April 25 or 26

Immaculata concludes their 2025 regular season with an overall record of 6-7, and they are 6-6 in Atlantic East Conference play. Immaculata earns the fourth seed in the AEC Tournament after finishing tied with the third seed Centenary who is also 6-6, but Centenary holds the tiebreaker having won both of the team's meetings during the regular season. Immaculata will face the first seed Marymount in the Semifinals. The second seed Eastern will play Centenary.

Game one: Eastern 19, Immaculata 0

How it Happened
- The game remained scoreless through the first quarter of play.
- Eastern got on the scoreboard on a 60-yard pick six interception return for a TD. With conversion was good as Eastern took a 7-0 lead.
- Eastern extended their lead to 13-0 on a second pick six interception return for a TD. This time the conversion failed.
- Eastern scored a third touchdown on a 20-yard touchdown pass to take at 19-0 lead that they would hold on to close out the win.

Game Two: Immaculata 33, Holy Family 15

How it Happened
- After stopping Holy Family on their first possession, Immaculata used a three-play drive to take a 7-0 lead. Caia Harris began the drive with a four-yard run. Abigail Lentowski caught a 32-yard pass from Sydney Butcher to advance to the Eastern five-yard line. Lentowski caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Butcher to get Immaculata on the board. The point after pass was successful.
- Holy Family tied the score late in the first quarter on an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown. The point after pass attempt was good and the game went into the second quarter tied at 7-7.
- On the first possession of the second quarter Immaculata re-took the lead when Sydney Butcher completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Eliana Szatkowski. Butcher ran the ball in herself for the point after to give Immaculata a 14-7 lead.
- Immaculata extended their lead to 20-7 when Sydney Butcher scored on a five-yard run. The point after pass attempt failed.
- Eastern scored late in the second quarter on a 23-yard pass for a touchdown. Holy Family went for two points, and the pass was good to make the score 20-15.
- Immaculata had the first possession of the third quarter and capped a 10-play drive with Sydney Butcher's two-yard run for a touchdown. The point after pass was good, and Immaculata took a 27-15 lead.
- On Holy Family's next possession, Abigail Lentowski intercepted a third down pass at the Immaculata 24-yard line.
- Immaculata used another 10-play drive to move down the field, and Sydney Butcher scored the touchdown on a one-yard run to give Immaculata a 33-15 lead.
- Holy Family moved the ball down the field on their final drive, but Eliana Szatkowski got an interception at the goal line and returned it 14-yards. Immaculata ran out the clock to earn the victory and clinched a spot in the Atlantic East Conference Tournament.
