IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team defeated Marymount 4-2 in an Atlantic East Conference match at the IU Tennis Courts this afternoon. Immaculata swept all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Immaculata would win three of five completed singles matches to clinch the win 4-2. Immaculata improves to 3-8 overall, and to 1-3 in Atlantic East Conference play. Marymount falls to 3-8 overall, and to 0-3 in Atlantic East Conference play.
 
Today was senior day for the Immaculata Tennis Program, as the women's tennis team honored senior Pamela Kontaras for her dedication to the women's tennis team.

Doubles Matches

• Pamela Kontaras and Delaney Brown won the first doubles match 6-4.
• Sophia Carey and Hailey Elwell won the second doubles match 6-0.
• Audrey Keen and Laura Pharo won the third doubles match 6-2.
• Immaculata led 1-0 after the doubles matches.

 
Singles Matches

• Pamela Kontaras lost the first singles match 1-6, 0-6.
• Delaney Brown lost the second singles match 3-6, 4-6.
• Sophia Carey won the third singles match 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
• Hailey Elwell won the fourth singles match 6-1, 6-0.
• Audrey Keen fifth singles match was ended due to rain, she lost the first set 6-7 (4-7).
• Elizabeth Madsen won the sixth singles match by forfeit.
• Immaculata won three out of five complete singles matches.
