WEST CHESTER, Pa.- On Saturday March 22nd, the Immaculata Men's Track and Field team made the short drive to West Chester to spearhead their outdoor season. The weekend was a success for the team, as the Mighty Macs placed seventeenth overall in the meet and mixed in several personal and program records. Track and Field will continue their spring season next weekend at Widener University for the Dan Curran Invitational.
Track Events
- In the 100 meter dash, Aaron Cuthbert placed 27th overall, clocking 11.96 seconds as Jayden Williams placed 38th with a time of 12.24 seconds and Dylan Crews placed 40th with a time of 12.28.
- Three Might Macs took on the 200m dash: Dylan Crews ran 25.20 secs placing 53rd, Jayden Williams 25.26 placing 55th, and Maurice Franklin 25.88 seconds.Â
- In the 400m, Maurice Franklin crossed the finish line at 56.08, earning 31st place.
- Christopher Watson , Jimmy Lauer , and Kendall Budlow participated in the men's 800m. Watson's 2:15.20 was good for 22nd place as Lauer's 2:23.76 garnered 31st place. Budlow finished in 44th place with a time of 2:54.19.
- The men's mile featured three Mighty Macs: Samuel Domencic earned 14th place with a 4:23.66, Connor Kakowski went 45th with a 4:42.51, and Kendall Budlow set a personal best 5:39.92 good for 63rd overall.
- Jason Canterino ran the 5000m finishing in 12th place with a time of 21:10.37.
- Immacualata's 4x400 came in 11th (A) and 13th (B) place, crossing the finish line at 4:00.41 and 4:37.22.Â
