MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Immaculata softball team completed their run in the Fast Pitch Dreams Classic sweeping a pair of games on Friday. Immaculata defeated Franciscan 17-1 in their first game, and defeated Dickinson 10-6 in their second game. Immaculata finishes their stay in Mrytle Beach going 4-2.
Immaculata 17, Franciscan 1
Immaculata scored eight runs in the top of the first inning to take a commanding 8-0 lead. Immaculata had 16 hits in the game and drew 15 walks.
Riece Onorato was dominant on the mound for Immaculata earning the win allowing six hits, one earned run and had 10 strikeouts. Immaculata would close the game out after five innings winning 17-1.

The Immaculata softball team defeated Dickinson 10-6 in their second game of the day on Thursday evening. Immaculata took advantage of multiple fielding errors by Dickinson to finish their run in Mrytle Beach at 4-2.
Emma Mercadante earned her second win of the season with a complete game scattering eight hits, four earned runs and had three strikeouts.

Carlee Karcher each had two RBIs for the Mighty Macs.
How it Happened
- Dickinson opened the scoring with a run in the top of first inning on a sacrifice fly.
- Immaculata took advantage of a fielding error by Dickinson to tie the score at 1-1 in the bottom of the first inning.
- Dickinson would add a second run in the top of the second inning on another sacrifice fly.
- Emma Pinto reached on an error, scoring Carlee Karcher. Pinto, they stole home to put Immaculata up to stay at 3-2.
- In the third Immaculata would extend their lead as Carlee Karcher hit a two-run double scoring Jess Oldham and Steph Kelly. Allison Hill and Bryele Anthony would drive in runs on ground outs, and Jess Oldham singled to right field to score Maddy Formica.
- Steph Kelly drove in a run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Jess Oldham singled to center field to drive in a run in the sixth inning as well.
- Dickinson would score three runs in the top of the seventh inning as Immaculata would go on to take the game 10-6.
