ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata women's lacrosse team fell at Elizabethtown 21-6 on Thursday evening. Jacki Murray scored at 14:16 of the first quarter to become just the second player in Immaculata women's lacrosse program history to reach 200 career goals. Murray, who scored three goals tonight now has 202 career goals trails Layne Kennedy, the program's all-time leading scorer who had 215 career goals. Kelsey Caldarelli, Ava Hoffman, and Cara Strickland all scored for Immaculata, and Abigail Guarneri made 14 saves in goal.
With the loss Immaculata falls to 1-5 on the season, while Elizabethtown improves to 6-1.
Scoring
-Jacki Murray scored three goals giving her 17 goals on the season. Kelsey Caldarelli scored her fourth goal of the season, Ava Hoffman scored her ninth goal of the season, and Cara Strickland scored her first goal of the season.
Defensive
-Addison Yackle had a team-high four ground balls, Ava Hoffman, and Bailee Neitz each had two ground balls, and Kelsey Caldarelli and Jacki Murray each had one ground ball.
-Ava Hoffman had a caused turnover.
-Jacki Murray had four draw controls, and Ava Hoffman and Cara Strickland each had one draw control.
-Goalkeeper Abigail Guarneri made 14 saves on 46 shots faced. Guarneri was not officially credited with any ground balls, and denied eight free position shots.
