MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Immaculata softball team earned a split on Thursday at the Fast Pitch Dreams Classic. Immaculata fell to King's College 9-0 in their first game. In the second game Immaculata rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk it off vs Lycoming 4-3.
King's College 9, Immaculata 0 (5 innings)
The Immaculata softball team fell to King's College 9-0 in their first game of the day at the Fast Pitch Dreams Classic. Kate Daly went 1-3, and Bryele Anthony came off the bench to go 1-2 with a stolen base for Immaculata. Emma Mercadante pitched 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit, and had two strikeouts for Immaculata.

The Immaculata softball team scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat previously unbeaten Lycoming 4-3 on Rylee Martin's Wolk off two run single that scored Bryele Anthony and Step Kelly. Nadia Bhuiyan got the complete game winning allowing nine hits, and just two earned runs. With the win Immaculata improves to 2-2 overall, and Lycoming falls to 4-1.

In the bottom of the seventh, Maddy Formica lead off getting on base. Bryele Anthony and Steph Kelly each got bunt singles to load the bases. Jess Oldham reached base on an error by the shortstop that scored Formica and kept the bases loaded. Rylee Martin single to center field to walk it off scoring Anthony and Kelly to win the game 4-3.
