STATEN ISLAND, NY- On Friday afternoon, the Immaculata men's track and field team took part in the Fasttrack Last Chance Meet at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York. Ocean Breeze served as the Mighty Macs' indoor finale for the 2024-2025 season. In the meet, Immaculata competed against DI, DII, and DIII schools that spanned eight different states.

Track Events

• In the 60 meter Dash, Aaron Cuthbert placed 16th overall, clocking 7.56 seconds as Maurice Franklin placed 31st with a time of 7.96 seconds.
• Aaron Cuthbert placed 55th in the 200m dash with a time of 24.29 seconds.
• In the 400m, Maurice Franklin crossed the finish line at 57.05, earning 43rd place.
• Christopher Watson and Jimmy Lauer participated in the men's 800m. Watson's 2:12.55 was good for 44th place as Lauer's 2:22.98 garnered 46th place.
• The men's mile featured three Mighty Macs: Connor Kakowski went 26th with a 5:05.65, Jason Canterino earned 29th place behind a 6:12.08, and Kendall Budlow set a personal-best 6:43.73, good for 30th overall.
• Immacualata's 4x400 came in eighth place, crossing the finish line at 4:35.50. Aaron Cuthbert, Samuel Domencic, Christopher Watson, and Maurice Franklin composed the Mighty Macs' lineup in the event. 
• The men's distance medley relay team of Jason Canterino, Jimmy Lauer, Connor Kakowski, and Chris Watson placed third with a time of 13.27.11. Canterino ran the 1200m leg, as Lauer ran the 400, Kakowski ran the 800, and Watson took the mile.

Field Event

• In the Long Jump, Aaron Cuthbert placed 17th with a distance of 6.16 meters.
• In the Shot Put, Joshua Derocher placed 14th, throwing 10.29m as Luke Micsky placed 17th, throwing 8.34 meters.

Upcoming

• At the conclusion of the meet, the Mighty Macs wrapped up their 2024-2025 indoor season.
• Immaculata Track and Field will soon release their 2025 spring schedule.
