IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team fell to Gwynedd Mercy 73-62 this afternoon on Senior Day at Alumnae Hall.
John Proctor had a double-double to lead Immaculata, scoring 15 points, and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Ryan Straub scored a season high 11 points, and
Tym Richardson scored 10 points for Immaculata.

With the loss, Immaculata falls to 6-16 overall, and 1-8 in Atlantic East Conference play. With the win Gwynedd Mercy improves to 19-3 overall, and 7-2 in Atlantic East Conference play.

Ryan Straub for the Mighty Mac Careers. Immaculata also celebrated Immaculata Cheerleading Seniors Mary Santoso and Ava Rizzo on their careers as Mighty Macs Cheerleaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gwynedd Mercy hit three early three-pointers as they opened a quick 12-4 lead. Tym Richardson scored on a tip in, John Proctor scored on a driving layup, and John Flood hit a three-pointer as Immaculata started to fight their way back into the game. Immaculata got a layup from Samuel Jankowski, and a tip in from John Proctor as Immaculata cut the lead to 23-19 with 8:17 remaining in the first half.
- Ryan Straub hit a three-pointer, and Robbie Logan followed with a pair of three-pointers of his own as Immaculata trailed 37-31 with 0:38 remaining in the first half. Logan scored on layup with 0:05 remaining in the half as Immaculata trailed 37-33 at the break.
- In the second half, Immaculata came out quick as Dylan Crews scored on an early layup and completed the three-point play at the stripe as Immaculata pulled with in one point at 37-36. John Flood scored on a layup to tie the score 41-41 with 17:44 remaining. Ryan Straub hit a three-pointer to cut the Griffins lead to 45-44 with 16:35 remaining. The game remained scoreless for over three minutes until Gwynedd Mercy scored with 13:24 remaining.
- Dylan Crews scored on a layup with 8:34 remaining to pull Immaculata with in one point trailing 54-53. Gwynedd would go right back down the court and score as they would go on to increase their lead to 68-58 with 3:00 remaining. Tym Richardson scored the final two buckets for Immaculata as Gwynedd Mercy closed out the win 73-62.
