THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's basketball team (17-3, 7-0 AEC) is back in action on Saturday when they host Gwynedd Mercy University at Alumnae Hall at 1:00 p.m.
  • Saturday is Senior Day as Immaculata honors seniors: Abigail Boyer (Royersford, Pa. / Spring-Ford), Tessa Liberatoscioli (Malvern, Pa. / Great Valley), Alyssa Long (Springfield, Pa. / Springfield), and Reese Mullins (Hockessin, DE / Tower Hill).
  • Immaculata enters the game after defeating Neumann on Wednesday 63-44 as they clinched the AEC Regular Season Title and secured the first seed in the AEC Tournament.
  • Gwynedd Mercy (5-15, 1-5 AEC) enters Saturday's game after falling at Marywood 77-55 on Wednesday.
  • Saturday is also Immaculata's Annual Play4Kay doubleheader with the men's basketball team with all donations going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

MULLINS MILESTONE
  • Reese Mullins reached the 500-career rebound mark in Wednesday's game vs Neumann. Mullins, who currently sits with 501 career rebounds, got her 500th rebound in the final seconds of the third quarter when she got a defensive rebound off a missed jumper by Neumann.
 
AROUND THE AEC
  • With the conference schedule moving into the final weeks of the regular season, the battle for the five playoff spots and seeding is intensifying. Immaculata has secured the first seed, and home court advantage for the AEC Tournament.
  • Neumann currently sits in second place at 4-3, just half game ahead of Marymount who is in third at 3-3. Marywood is currently fourth at 3-5, Centenary is in fifth at 2-4, and Gwynedd Mercy is in sixth at 1-5.
