Men's Basketball Falls at Marymount on Saturday, 98-64

ARLINGTON, Va.- The Immaculata men's basketball team fell at Marymount 98-64 on Saturday afternoon. Mandon Seapoe scored 16 points, and John Proctor scored 14 points as two of four Mighty Macs who scored in double figures. 

With the loss Immaculata falls to 6-14 overall, and to 1-6 in Atlantic East Conference play. Marymount with the win improves to 13-6 overall, and 7-0 in Atlantic East Conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Mandon Seapoe hit a three-pointer, and Tym Richardson hit a pair of free three-pointers as Immaculata took an early 9-5 lead. Marymount would go on a 20-6 run to take a 25-15 lead with 10:32 remaining in the half. 

  • John Proctor scored five consecutive points to cut Marymount's lead to 25-20. Mandon Seapoe hit a three-pointer later in the half as Marymount took a 53-28 lead into the halftime break. 

  • John Proctor completed a three-point play, John Flood hit a three-pointer, and Dylan Crews completed a three-point play for Immaculata. Kevin Telesford hit a three-pointer later for the Mighty Macs. Marymount would go on to close out the win 98-64.  

TOP PERFORMERS 

  • Mandon Seapoe scored 16 points, with two rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot. 

  • John Proctor scored 14 points, two rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot. 

  • Tym Richardson scored 10 points, with five rebounds, one assist, one blocked shot, and one steal. 

  • John Flood scored 10 points, with five rebounds, and one steal. 

  • Dylan Crews scored six points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. 

  • Jalen Flowers scored three points, with one rebound, two assists, and one steal. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Immaculata shot 41.8% (23-55) from the field, 57.1% (8-14) from behind the arc, and shot 52.6% (10-19) from the stripe. They scored eight second chance points, 28 points in the paint, and 10 points off turnovers. 

  • Marymount shot 59.3% (35-39) from the field, 52.4% (11-21) from behind the arc, and 65.4% (17-26) from the stripe. They scored 17 second chance points, 46 points in the paint, and 23 points off turnovers.
