DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Immaculata women's basketball team extended its winning streak to five games with a 76-58 victory over Delaware Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Four Mighty Macs finished in double figures, led by
Olivia Ettorre, who scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-6 from three-point range
. Abby Grillo added 18 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, while
Carly Coleman recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals.
With the win, Immaculata heads into the holiday break at 8-2 overall. Delaware Valley drops to 3-6 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST DELAWARE VALLEY
- The game remained scoreless for the first three minutes before Delaware Valley opened the scoring.
- Olivia Ettorre answered with a three-pointer off a pass from Coleman to put Immaculata on the board, igniting an early run.
- Abby Grillo connected from beyond the arc with 2:26 remaining in the first quarter as Immaculata built a 16-6 lead.

- Sofia Kouridakis followed with an offensive rebound and mid-range jumper.
- Ettorre added another late three-pointer as Immaculata led 21-10 advantage after one quarter.

- Ettorre would go over the top to Meg Robbins for a layup to extend the Immaculata lead to 32-16 with 4:15 remaining in the quarter.
- Immaculata would carry a 36-20 lead into the halftime break.
- The Mighty Macs continued to pull away in the third quarter, as Coleman sparked the offense with a pair of defensive rebounds, leading to back-to-back Ettorre three-pointers off assists from Sabrina Little that extended the lead to 46-24.
- Coleman would get another defensive rebound with 11 seconds left in the quarter, bring the ball up and fed Abby Grillo, who would hit a buzzer beating three-pointer as Immaculata carried a 59-37 lead into the fourth quarter.
- In the final period, Lianna Adames forced a steal and delivered a long pass to Julia Pohl for a layup, extending the lead to 71-47.
- Immaculata closed out the game to secure the 76-58 victory.
