IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team (1-0) opened their 2025-26 with a dominant win over Moravian 81-56 at Alumnae Hall on Saturday afternoon. Freshman

Olivia Ettorre scored 14 points, with seven rebounds, and five blocked shots. Sophomore captain
Carly Coleman scored 13 points, with five rebounds to help lead the Mighty Macs.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST MORAVIAN
- Moravian jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, capitalizing on some early miscues.
- Abby Grillo sparked Immaculata's offense with a driving layup for her first collegiate basket and completed the three-point play at the foul line. She then hit a three-pointer to give the Mighty Macs their first lead, 8-6, with 6:48 remaining in the first quarter. Grillo finished the quarter with 11 points as Immaculata led 25-13.
- Olivia Ettorre scored her first points of the season in the second quarter with a jumper and a three-pointer, pushing Immaculata's lead to 34-17. She also added two blocked shots in the first half.
- Sabrina Little scored her first collegiate points with a layup late in the second quarter, helping Immaculata take a 40-21 lead into halftime.
- In the third quarter, Ettorre scored five more points to extend the lead to 43-23, and Coleman added late points as the team led 61-38 after three quarters.
- Carly Coleman scored late in the third quarter as Immaculata led 61-38 after three quarters of play.
- In the fourth quarter, Katie McGuigan recorded a steal, then took the ball up court for a coast-to-coast layup, while Ettorre and Coleman each scored seven points. Ettorre added three more blocks as Immaculata closed out the 81-56 victory.
