LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Immaculata University women's volleyball team capped off its non-conference schedule with a 3–1 victory over Cairn University on Thursday night, taking the match by set scores of 25–23, 25–11, 20–25, and 25–19.
 
With the win, the Mighty Macs improve to 10–14 overall and remain 3–1 in Atlantic East Conference play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST CAIRN
	- In the first set Immaculata jumped out to a 10–6 lead behind back-to-back aces from Lauren Gartman and a kill by Damani Myers. Later, Eliana Szatkowski served three straight points, including an ace, while Emma Hodgson added a kill to make it 22–13. Cairn rallied to pull within one at 24–23, but Myers sealed the set with a kill for the 25–23 win.
- In set two the Mighty Macs raced ahead 4–0 as Angelica Santini Bulerin served four consecutive points, including an ace, and Mia Esposito put down a kill. Szatkowski again made an impact from the service line, delivering three straight aces to push the lead to 11–3. She later served the final two points to clinch a dominant 25–11 second set.
- In the third set Immaculata held a narrow 6–5 edge early before Cairn responded with a five-point run. The Macs countered with a seven-point stretch highlighted by back-to-back kills from Esposito and two aces from Cianni Baez. Despite leading 20–17 after kills by Calissa Araujo and Hodgson, Immaculata saw Cairn rally for eight unanswered points to take the set, 25–20.
- In set four Cairn started strong at 3–1, but a kill from Araujo and an ace from Szatkowski helped swing momentum as Immaculata moved ahead 5–4. After Cairn regained a 15–12 advantage, the Macs responded with a four-point burst featuring kills from Esposito and Araujo. Clinging to a 19–18 lead, Szatkowski delivered her sixth ace of the match, and Esposito followed with back-to-back kills to extend the lead to 22–18. Kills by Antonia Antolini and Araujo closed out the 25–19 set and secured the match, 3–1.
