WHAT TO KNOW

The Immaculata University field hockey team (7-12, 2-2 AEC) finished the regular season in third place in the Atlantic East Conference. The No. 3 seed Mighty Macs will travel to face No. 2 seed Neumann in the AEC Semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
Immaculata, appearing in the AEC Semifinals for the fourth consecutive season, enters the matchup following a 1–0 loss to Neumann on Wednesday in the regular-season finale at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Neumann (10-6, 3-1 AEC) makes their return to the AEC Tournament after missing post-season play in 2024, after improving their overall record by six wins in 2025.

SERIES HISTORY

Immaculata and Neumann will be meeting for the 31^st time in their series that began in 1997.
Immaculata is 11-19 all-time vs Neumann.

LAST MEETING

Immaculata fell to Neumann 1-0 at Draper Walsh Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Neumann scored the game's only goal late in the second quarter.

PREVIOUS PLAYOFF MEETINGS

Immaculata and Neumann are meeting in post season play for the third time in their series, having split the two previous meetings.
Immaculata defeated Neumann 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Quarterfinals on October 30, 2010, at Neumann.
Katie Becker scored the first goal assisted by Mary Beth Plastek. Lauren Bigos scored the second goal assisted by Kristen Yoder. Goalkeeper Britt Worthington made six saves for her fourth shutout of the season.
The loss averaged Immaculata's 2-0 loss to Neumann in the 2009 CSAC Quarterfinals.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES

Alexis Andrada leads Immaculata with 11 goals and 23 points, surpassing 20 points for the second straight year.
Morgan Barnes (4 goals, 3 assists) returned to the lineup Wednesday and is second in team scoring.
Maria Freeman is tied with Barnes for the team lead in assists with three. She has scored one goal and has five points. Freeman has played a vital role in the midfield and on the defensive end for Immaculata.
The Immaculata defensive core of Abby Fekete, Rachel Madden, Victoria Atkinson, and midfielders Kayla Ledbetter, Jillian Vandenbraak, and Freeman will look to contain Neumann's attack on Saturday.
Mackenzie Schrack made four saves in goal vs Neumann on Wednesday.
Immaculata will look to Gabrielle O'Brien, Emilyn Bivens, Maria Berenato, Taylor Eagan, and Gigi Fox for additional offense.
Immaculata has been strong on the road this season, holding a 4–2 away record.

SCOUTING NEUMANN

Junior forward Cadence Conti leads the Knights with 11 goals and one assist for 23 points.
Sophomore midfielder Gabriella Cappelli scored eight goals, with four assists for 20 points.
Sophomore forward Meghan Sheldrick scored five goals and got one assist for 11 points.
Senior goalkeeper Caley Gee has started 16 games and has 63 saves on 93 shots faced. She made four saves in Wednesday win at Immaculata.
Neumann is 4-2 at home this season.

UP NEXT

The winner of Saturday's Semifinal will advance to the Atlantic East Conference Championship Game on Saturday, November 8.
In the other Semifinal, No. 1 seed Marywood hosts No. 4 seed Manhattanville at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
The highest remaining seed will host the AEC Championship Game.
