Field Hockey Heads to Neumann for Atlantic East Semifinal Showdown on Saturday

WHAT TO KNOW
  • The Immaculata University field hockey team (7-12, 2-2 AEC) finished the regular season in third place in the Atlantic East Conference. The No. 3 seed Mighty Macs will travel to face No. 2 seed Neumann in the AEC Semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
  • Immaculata, appearing in the AEC Semifinals for the fourth consecutive season, enters the matchup following a 1–0 loss to Neumann on Wednesday in the regular-season finale at Draper Walsh Stadium.
  • Neumann (10-6, 3-1 AEC) makes their return to the AEC Tournament after missing post-season play in 2024, after improving their overall record by six wins in 2025.
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Immaculata and Neumann will be meeting for the 31st time in their series that began in 1997.
  • Immaculata is 11-19 all-time vs Neumann.

  • Sophomore forward Meghan Sheldrick scored five goals and got one assist for 11 points.
  • Senior goalkeeper Caley Gee has started 16 games and has 63 saves on 93 shots faced. She made four saves in Wednesday win at Immaculata.
  • Neumann is 4-2 at home this season.
UP NEXT
  • The winner of Saturday's Semifinal will advance to the Atlantic East Conference Championship Game on Saturday, November 8.
  • In the other Semifinal, No. 1 seed Marywood hosts No. 4 seed Manhattanville at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
