IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team (2-2, 0-0 AEC) fell in Thursday night's non-conference match against Albright College. The Mighty Macs had to earn each of their points, as the Lions made clean passes and prevented Immaculata from logging any service aces during their three-set road victory.

How it Happened

• Beginning with a kill from Alayah Phifer, Immaculata took a 3-2 lead early in the opening set.
• Albright responded with an impressive eight point run, overtaking the Macs for an 11-3 advantage.
• Calissa Araujo, Alayah Phifer, Diana Rivera, and Mia Esposito each collected a kill during the Macs' fight to tighten the gap, drawing the set to 14-10 and later 17-13.
• Kills from Eliana Szatkowski, Mia Esposito, and Alayah Phifer drew Immaculata comeback bid within three points, as the Lions led 22-19.
• Albright had final say on the first set, however, as the Lions won by a score of 25-21.
• Immaculata trailed early in the following set, as Albright raced to an 11-3 lead. 
• The Mighty Macs mustered points and sustained lengthy volleys during the middle portion of the match, but the visitors closed on a six point run to claim the second frame 25-11.
• Calissa Araujo picked up two kills and a solo block during the second set.
• Albright brought their momentum into the third set, jumping to a 7-0 advantage early.
• Alayah Phifer picked up the kill to mark the end of Immaculata's point drought. 
• Dinah Stabinski played scrappy on several prolonged volleys, later helping the Macs register 7 points to Albright's 13. 
• Immaculata forced Albright into attack errors late, but the Lions closed the door on the match behind a 25-11 final set.

• Alayah Phifer led Immaculata with 5 kills while Calissa Araujo had 3 and Mia Esposito added 2.
• Christina Lenzo collected 9 assists, followed by Jenna Bozzo's 6.
• Dinah Stabinski led the Macs' defensive efforts, contributing a game-high 14 digs. She was followed in the stat sheet by Lily Barzousky and Calissa Araujo, each with 5.
• Diana Rivera registered 2 blocks, while Mia Esposito and Calissa Araujo added one apiece.
