Rachel McNamee scored a goal, and freshman
Carly Coleman scored a goal as Immaculata rolled past Gwynedd Mercy 3-0 in their Atlantic East Conference women's soccer opener on Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.
This was the Mighty Macs first Atlantic East Conference win since October 8, 2022, when they defeated Gwynedd Mercy 4-0.

How it Happened
- Immaculata got off to a fast start with Rachel McNamee generating the first shot in the game's fourth minute.
- Immaculata opened the scoring in the 27th minute, when Savanna Crowding played a through ball that Gabby Palladino ran down and crossed the ball to Rachel McNamee for her fifth goal of the season to put Immaculata ahead 1-0.
- Immaculata extended their lead to 2-0 in the game's 36th minute when Savanna Crowding scored her second goal of the season on an assist from Marissa Birmingham.
- The Mighty Macs continued to press the remainder of the half but were unable to extend their lead and led 2-0 at the half.
- Immaculata led 17-0 in shots in the first half.
- Immaculata extended their lead to 3-0 in the games 69th minute when Sam Terry's corner kick was headed into the goal by Carly Coleman for her second goal of the season.
- Gwynedd Mercy generated five shots in the second half, and Immaculata goalkeeper Emily Guthier made three saves in the second half to earn the clean sheet as Immaculata won 3-0.

- Savanna Crowding continued her strong week with a goal and an assist in the game. Coming off the bench today, Crowding generated three shots, including two on goal. Crowding scored goals in both the Mighty Macs wins this week.
