Men's Soccer Battles to a 0-0 Draw with Hood in Wednesday's Non-Conference Game

IMMACULATA, Pa.- Senior goalkeeper John Wilhelm made six saves in goal as Immaculata finished in a 0-0 draw with Hood College in Wednesday afternoon's non-conference game at Draper Walsh Stadium.

With today's draw, Immaculata is now 3-4-1 on the season, while Hood now has an identical 3-4-1 this season. Hood finished with a 14-11 advantage in shots, and a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal.

How it Happened
  • Immaculata generated the game's first shot on goal in the 12th minute as Matthew Kirkpatrick shot was saved by Hood goalkeeper Nick Humphries.
  • Hood generated their first shot on goal in the game's 30th minute that was saved by John Wilhelm.
  • Hood later generated shots on goal in the 35th and the 36th minute that were saved by John Wilhelm.
  • In the 45th minute Immaculata had its best scoring chance of the day as Reed Lindsay served a corner kick right into the box. Kyle Coleman's header bounced onto the turf and was saved by Humphries as the game remained scoreless at half-time.
