Field Hockey Heads to Lebanon Valley College For Tough Test on Saturday

THE STORYLINE
  • Immaculata (4-3) heads to Lebanon Valley College on Saturday to face the unbeaten Dutchmen. The Mighty Macs are in a stretch of games in their schedule against tough competition before the Atlantic East Conference play starts on October 12th.
  • Lebanon Valley (6-0) has started their season winning their first six games. Last weekend the Dutchmen went 2-0 in the William Smith Classic hosted by William Smith College. LVC defeated St. Lawrence 4-2, and the host William Smith 2-1.
 
THE SERIES
  • These two schools are meeting for the third time in their series that began in 2018.
  • Immaculata is 0-2 all-time against Lebanon Valley.
 
THEIR LAST MEETING
  • Immaculata lost to LVC 5-1 in their last meeting on October 2, 2019, at Draper Walsh Stadium.

  • Sophomore goalkeeper Ella Weidenhammer started all six games, has a 0.71 goals-against average, has made 28 saves and has two shutouts.
  • LVC is averaging 16.8 shots per game.

  • Immaculata field hockey will be back on the road on Tuesday, September 24th when they travel to Reading to take on Alvernia University at 7:00 pm.
