SERIES HISTORY 

• These two schools are meeting for the seventh time in a series that began back in 2008. Immaculata is 2-3-1 vs Goucher. 

LAST MEETING 

• These two schools played to a 1-1 draw in their last meeting on September 16, 2023, at Draper Walsh Stadium.  

• Josh Fonder scored for the Mighty Macs, and goalkeeper Ryan Straub made six crucial saves in net to keep the score deadlocked. 

MIGHTY MAC NOTES 

• The Immaculata men's soccer team is coming off back-to-back wins defeating Elizabethtown 3-2 on September 7th, and Notre Dame of Maryland 2-1 on September 11th.  

• Senior forward Matthew Kirkpatrick has scored goals in consecutive games for the Mighty Macs and leads the team with two goals. He was named to the Atlantic East Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. 

• Senior forward Oliver Wilkins scored the eventual game-winner for the Mighty Macs in the win over Notre Dame of Maryland on September 12th. 

• Senior midfielders Sean Franks and Reed Lindsay, and sophomore midfielder Alex Corsones have registered one assist each. 

• Immaculata's goalkeeping tandem of seniors John Wilhelm and Ryan Straub has been strong in net for the Mighty Macs. 

• Immaculata is averaging 12.8 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 13 shots per game. 

SCOUTING GOUCHER 

• Goucher has opened their season going 3-0-2. The Gophers have won over Notre Dame of Maryland, Hood, and Wilson. They have draws with Cairn, and McDaniel. 

• Senior forward Jonathan Alvarado leads the Gophers with two goals and three assists. 

• Senior forward Michael Adekanmbi has two goals and two assists, and freshman Aquila De Carvahlo has three goals. 

• Junior goalkeeper Ale Sternini has played all five games for the Gophers, making 21 saves while posting three clean sheets.
