IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University baseball team (15-10, 5-3 Atlantic East) fell to Marymount 18-5 in the third game of their weekend series at the Immaculata University Baseball Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Marymount would open the scoring in the top of the fourth inning scoring four runs to take the early 4-0 lead. Marymount would add on three runs in the top of the fourth inning, on their way to taking an 18-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning.
Immaculata would get on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning when
Jay Lawrence drew a bases loaded walk to score
Joey Wright.
Steven Theisen then followed with another walk to score
Josh Crowding.
Hunter Weitzel then singled to left field to score
Ryan Struble for Immaculata's third run.
In the seventh inning
Joey Wright double to right center to score
Joey Sacco who led off the inning with an infield single to third base for Immaculata's fourth run.
In the bottom of the ninth Immaculata scored their fifth run when
Maddox Stern was hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded to score
Robert Woodward.
Marymount would go on to close out the win 18-5.
Freshman infielder
JT Luther singled to right field in the bottom of the ninth inning for his first hit as the Mighty Mac. Luther drew a walk in his first at bat in the bottom of the seventh inning.

th when they host Widener University in a non-conference game at 3:30 PM at the Immaculata University Baseball Stadium.
